We would like to welcome you to The 50¢ Tabernacle on Sunday, February 9th, at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. YBCA is offering four 1 hr 15 min. dance classes for only 50¢ - a ridiculously inexpensive bargain for high quality dance!
The 50¢ Tabernacle is a series of open, mixed-level dance classes with some of the Bay Area's foremost masters of the craft. For 50¢, participants receive an all-day pass, good for up to four unique classes!
In conjunction with Nora Chipaumire, presented by YBCA in association with the Black Choreographers Festival, this edition puts a spotlight on the dynamic diversity of African-American performance in the Bay Area today, including classes with Nora Chipaumire, Marc Bamuthi Joseph, Robert Moses and Rashad Pridgen, all master teachers/artists connected with the Black Choreographers Festival!

Part interactive celebration, part community movement space, these workshops are organized by the YBCA Young Artists at Work in collaboration with the YBCA Department of Performing Arts, and are open to everyone, with a focus on teens in the community. Come out and join the movement…
